AAHS is honored to host Edward Ornstein, Embassy Director and Deputy General Counsel for the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida. Mr. Ornstein's advocacy, publications and lectures focus on the intersections between Tribal interests, environmental stewardship, and public policy. His talk will cover the history and influence of the Miccosukee Tribe in the Apalachicola River valley.

Guests will also have the opportunity for a guided preview of the Raney Museum's new craft and artifact display, Miccosukee: Art, Identity & Continuity, scheduled to open to the public on October 28.

The program is FREE and open to the public, although seating is limited.
