AAHS is honored to host Edward Ornstein, Embassy Director and Deputy General Counsel for the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida. Mr. Ornstein's advocacy, publications and lectures focus on the intersections between Tribal interests, environmental stewardship, and public policy. His talk will cover the history and influence of the Miccosukee Tribe in the Apalachicola River valley.

He'll also provide an orientation to the Raney Museum's craft and artifact display, Miccosukee: Art, Identity & Continuity, opening October 27, 2026.
